A LIB Dem activist has been arrested at their conference in Brighton on suspicion of sexual assault after allegedly groping a woman at a late-night party.
Cops held the party member just hours before Sir Ed Davey delivered his keynote address to close the three-day gathering.

The 57-year-old man is alleged to have groped a woman, in her 20s, at the Lib Dem “glee club” in the early minutes after midnight on Tuesday.
The Lib Dems have suspended the man’s membership and launched an investigation.
Late-night glee club is an annual tradition at Lib Dem Autumn Conference.

The event sees boozed-up members sing along to anti-Tory and anti-Labour songs, with lyrics including “Tony Blair can f*** off and die” and “bollocks to Brexit”.
A Lib Dem spokesperson said: “We are horrified this has happened, we assisted the police in identifying and arresting the suspect and have suspended him from the party.”
A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “We have arrested a 57-year-old man from Bristol on suspicion of sexual assault by touching in relation to an incident which took place at The Grand Hotel, Kings Road, Brighton at around midnight on Tuesday.
“He remains in custody at this time.”
