The second and third days of the Kanpur Test between India and Bangladesh were abandoned without a ball being bowled, while only 35 overs could be played on the first day. Due to the bad condition of the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, the ground which was wet due to rain on the first day could not be dried for a match even in two days, due to which BCCI, which is considered to be the richest cricket board in the world, is being mocked on social media.
– No rain in Kanpur.
– No drainage system.
– Not a single ball has been bowled in two days.
– These are the facilities provided by the so called richest cricket board. If the Ind vs Ban test is a draw, who is responsible? This corrupt board is not serious at all. pic.twitter.com/XaxIB9rhyn

The Board of Control for Cricket in India on Saturday, September 28 announced several new rules for the mega auction to be held for the IPL 2025 season, including the retention policy. A day later, on Sunday, September 29, BCCI president Roger Binny, secretary Jay Shah, vice-president Rajeev Shukla and treasurer Ashish Shelar inaugurated the board's new center of excellence, the new National Cricket Academy near Bengaluru.
Between these two high-profile and important events, which project the strength of the board and its strong image, but the Test match being played in Kanpur has become an embarrassment for the board and it has had to listen to criticism from the fans.
• No rain in Kanpur.
• No drainage system.
• No play for two days.
This clown BCCI schedules Tests in Kanpur during the rainy season despite the poor drainage. If the #INDvBAN Test ends in a draw, the blame falls squarely on this incompetent and corrupt board. #KanpurTest pic.twitter.com/swkShQGVxo

Washed out for the second day in a row
The third day of the Kanpur Test between India and Bangladesh was also abandoned without a single ball being bowled. Earlier, not a single ball could be played on the second day either, while only 35 overs were possible on the first day of the match. Rain stopped the match on the first day, but due to the age-old dilapidated structure of the Green Park stadium, the match could not be played on the second and third day. According to reports, a few minutes of light rain on the next day made the Kanpur field even worse.
The richest cricket board @BCCI doesn't have a single stadium which can compete with any stadium in Australia or England in any aspects,
There is a reason why we are the most corrupt country.

On the third day of the match i.e. today Sunday when the BCCI officials were inaugurating the Center of Excellence in Bengaluru, the Green Park Stadium umpire was announcing the cancellation of today's game. While on the third day not even a drop of rain fell but still not a single ball could be bowled. This meant that even though there was no rain, the wet ground could not be dried for two days. Under the auspices of the world's richest cricket board, what could be more embarrassing is the lack of a system that can dry out a wet ground.
