To make Farali Handwa on Navratri, you will need ingredients like samo, sabudana, ginger-chilli paste, salt, curd, milk, baking soda, cloves, cinnamon, black pepper powder, oil, roasted peanut butter, coriander, sweet neem, sesame seeds.
To make handwa first grind samo and sabudana. Make sure to make a fine powder of this mixture. Then add curd, salt, ginger-chilli paste, cloves, cinnamon, black pepper powder. Now grate the milk and add it.
Be careful not to leave lumps in the batter. Now add oil to the pan and add cumin, sweet neem, sesame seeds. Add baking soda to the handwan kheer and mix well and put the kheer in the pan.
Now cover the pan and let it cook on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes. After that you can serve hot handwa with green chutney.
Grind coriander, green chillies, salt, lemon juice and mint to make green chutney. You can also use ice instead of water in this sauce. (Pic – Social Media)
