After being dismissed in the third ODI, Babar Azam was found guilty of misusing cricket equipment. After being dismissed in the 21st over, he struck the stumps with his bat while leaving the field, a violation under Article 2.2 of the ICC Code of Conduct.
Babar Azam fined 10 percent of match fee
Match referee Ali Naqvi fined Babar 10 percent of his match fee for the violation and added one demerit point to his disciplinary record. This is his first such offense in the last 24 months. Babur accepted the charge and accepted the sentence, thus settling the matter without further controversy. The minimum penalty for a Level 1 violation is an official reprimand, while the maximum penalty is 50 percent of the player's match fee and one or two demerit points.

Babar Azam was the most successful batsman in the three-match ODI series between the two teams. He scored 165 runs in three innings at an average of 82.50, including 102 not out.
