Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun led Goa to a resounding victory in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The left-armer took three wickets against Madhya Pradesh and thanks to his bowling in the powerplay, the opposition could not score big and then Goa registered their second win of the season. Goa beat Madhya Pradesh by 7 wickets.

Batting first, Madhya Pradesh scored 170 runs, in reply to which Goa achieved the target in 18.3 overs. Captain Suyash Prabhudesai scored an unbeaten 75 runs and Abhinav Tejrana played an innings of 55 runs. Apart from that, Arjun Tendulkar also bowled brilliantly. Arjun Tendulkar was the best bowler for Goa and took 3 wickets.

Arjun Tendulkar bowled the first over for Goa, with Shivang Kumar dismissed on the fifth ball. Shivang could not even open his account. He then dismissed Ankush Singh in the next over. Although Tendulkar proved a little costly in the death overs, he dismissed Venkatesh Iyer for 6, his third wicket. Harpreet Singh scored an unbeaten 80 for Madhya Pradesh. Captain Rajat Patidar could score only 29 runs. In the end, Ankit Verma hit 34 runs including four sixes.

Arjun Tendulkar also showed strength in batting
After his bowling prowess, Arjun Tendulkar also excelled in batting. He hit three fours as soon as he came to the crease, but Tiruparesh Singh dismissed him for 16 runs. Abhinav Talreja and Suyed Prabhudesai then gave Goa the win. Both of them registered a partnership of 89 runs in 66 balls. Lalit Yadav also added 57 runs in just 27 balls along with Prabhudesai to give the team victory.
