Team India has won the T20 series against South Africa and now the squad for T20 World Cup 2026 has been announced. Thus, all attention is currently focused on these two issues. But amidst all this, two big stars of Team India have started their work. After strong performances in the ODI series against Australia and South Africa, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have started preparations for the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Rohit and Virat start preparation
After playing the ODI series in Australia and South Africa, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are currently on a break. Both will be seen playing for Team India again in January 2026. He will return for the three-match ODI series between India and New Zealand starting January 11. However, that series is still a few days away, and in the meantime, Rohit and Virat will be seen playing in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, for which both have started their preparations again.

Both will play only two matches!
According to reports, Virat and Rohit may play only two matches in this tournament, but even these two matches will be important for them. Both have proved their form in two consecutive ODI series, but by participating in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, they will follow BCCI's mandate and also keep themselves fit for the ODI series.
