Forget the cricket match, Bangladesh is fighting within itself now. Former captain Tamim Iqbal, who spoke with some sense, has been labeled as an Indian agent. Among all these M. Najmul Islam has also been embroiled in controversies and is being asked to apologise. All in all, the whole matter has turned out to be an ordeal for him.
Bangladesh Cricket Board play begins
A new drama has started in the Bangladesh Cricket Board, which is adamant that India will not come to play in the T20 World Cup of the year 2026. Former Bangladesh captain Tamim Iqbal in a statement recently said that the decision to send the team to India for the ICC T20 World Cup in February should not be influenced by public sentiment.
Such a decision may have an impact for the next 10 years. Tamim also said, where is Bangladesh in world cricket and what can be the future of Bangladesh cricket? Just take a decision based on this perspective.

Nazmul Islam was embroiled in controversy
Meanwhile, Bangladesh Cricket Board Finance Committee Chairman M. Nazmul Islam accused Tamim Iqbal of being an Indian agent. This has now embroiled him in controversy. Within no time, a post of Nazmul's statement went viral on social media.
In the post, Nazmul wrote that this time the people of Bangladesh saw with their own eyes the rise of a more mature Indian agent. However, his direct attack was on Tamim Iqbal.
Now the Cricketers' Welfare Association of Bangladesh has said that it has written to the chairman of the Bangladesh Cricket Board demanding strict action against him after a public apology from the director.
Such comments about the most successful opening batsman in Bangladesh's history are completely unbecoming of a board official, the association said. Such comments about any cricketer in the country are unacceptable and are an insult to the entire cricket community.
BCB stood firm on its demand
The Bangladesh Cricket Board has now fallen into its own trap. The board is so enraged by the exclusion of a player from the IPL, it can't see anything beyond that.
In such a situation, ICC has already made it clear that the venue of Bangladesh's T20 World Cup matches will not be changed but the team will have to go to India to play its matches. Now despite this, the Bangladesh Cricket Board is firm on its demand.
