The final match was a memorable one for Vaibhav Suryavanshi. He scored 175 runs in just 80 balls with the help of 15 fours and 15 sixes. Due to this powerful innings the team scored 411 runs in 50 overs and won the match by a margin of 100 runs. In the post-match presentation, Vaibhav Suryavanshi said, “It feels great. The whole preparation, the hard work of the support staff, the Asia Cup and the series before that, all have brought us to this moment. We didn't take too much pressure, just took it easy and did what we always do in tournaments. The preparation has been great, not only after the Asia Cup, but for the last 8-9 months, everyone has worked hard. We know how hard we have worked. The skills were confident and I knew I had the ability to perform in big matches.”
