Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan, playing in T20 World Cup for the first time, scored his second century. With a blistering innings in the Group 8 match against Sri Lanka, Farhan completed his century and broke the record set by Indian legend Virat Kohli 12 years ago.

Completed the century in 59 balls
Sahibzada Farhan, who has been consistently performing well for Pakistan in this World Cup, once again played a brilliant innings for the team in a big match. After a change in the team, Sahibzada Farhan, opening with Fakhar Zaman, completed his century in 59 balls.
Two centuries in a T20 World Cup
This was his second century in this World Cup. Earlier, the batsman scored a century against Namibia in the final group stage match. This made him the first batsman to score two centuries in a single T20 World Cup. No other batsman in the world had achieved this feat before this.

Broke Virat Kohli's record
Not only the century, but during this innings Sahibzada Farhan also set the record for the most runs scored in the T20 World Cup. As soon as Farhan scored his 37th run, he broke the record of Indian legend Virat Kohli.
Record for most runs in T20 World Cup
Kohli scored 319 runs in six innings in the 2014 World Cup 12 years ago. Now, this record belongs to a Pakistani batsman. Farhan scored a 60-ball 100 in this innings, which included nine fours and five sixes. Fakhar Zaman also scored 84 runs off just 42 balls, and based on this innings, Pakistan posted a mammoth score of 212 runs.
