There was no answer when the receptionist called his room on March 30. Later, the dead body was found by the hotel staff while checking his room.
When the hotel staff knocked on the door of Ian's room, there was no reaction from inside. But everyone was shocked when they opened the room with the help of the master key. The body of Ian Williams Langford, a British national involved in IPL broadcasting, fell on the floor. The hotel doctor came and examined him and declared him dead. A report was lodged at the Mumbai Marine Drive Police Station regarding the death of Ian Williams Langford. The police have conducted further investigation in this matter.
