WHSmith shoppers are stunned at the chain’s £15 price labels for Cadbury Mini Eggs – three weeks after Easter.
Staff at the WHSmith branch in London Bridge station put stickers on their stock of Mini Eggs listing them at the hair-raising price of £15.

Most shops are currently selling the same 1kg bags of the Dairy Milk Easter treats at a heavy discount, with Waitrose only charging £2.50 at one branch.
Even before Easter, WHSmith seemed impatient to get through its Mini Eggs stock – offering Vodafone customers free bags.
But three weeks after Easter, the central London branch had £15 labels stuck on its Mini Eggs.
The labels appeared to be an innocent mistake, with the 1kg bags scanning for £10 at both self-checkout and the till despite their £15 label.
Mini Eggs superfans were quick to pass comment on the bizarre price labels.
Daisy said: “I thought it was a joke – there’s simply no way. It’s egg-regious.

“A tenner is already steep enough to charge for them. It’s flabbergasting.”
Another said: “It’s almost a month since Easter. I wouldn’t have paid that much for them even then.”
A third said: “That price label nearly gave me a heart attack – although a 1kg bag of Mini Eggs might have done that anyway.”
WHSmith has been contacted for comment.
It comes after a vet issued an urgent warning dog owners when a puppy jumped a stair gate to get her paws on another 1kg bag of Mini Eggs – leaving her seriously ill.
Shoppers are rushing to buy a bargain 12-piece dinner set which scans for just £1.30 at Asda tills.
Savvy customers noticed that the White Fawn Meadow Dinner Set, which is priced at £16, can be scanned at the supermarket’s tills for just over a pound.
