The Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has come into force in India. The Ministry of Home Affairs has officially announced the implementation of the CAA Act. The main objective of this Act is to make it easier for Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Christians and Parsis from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh to get Indian citizenship. Pakistani Hindu cricketer Danish Kaneria has given his reaction on the implementation of the law.
What did Danish Kaneria say?
Former Pakistan leg-spinner Danish Kaneria has always supported Narendra Modi’s BJP government. After the implementation of the CAA Act, Kaneria wrote on social media platform X – Pakistani Hindus can now breathe freely. Kaneria then tweeted one more. In which he wrote – Thanks to Narendra Modi ji and Amit Shah ji for implementing the Citizenship Amendment Act.
Pakistani Hindus will now be able to breathe in open air. #CAA
