Today, Kutch Swaminarayan Mandir is located here at Vadtal Mandir. Sant Swami and late Madhavapriya Swami Charodi invited Rishi Sunak, the first Hindu Prime Minister of London, to benefit from the Sri Lakshminarayana Dev Bicentenary Festival.
Bob Blackman was also specially present in the meeting. He expressed his pride that London has got its first Hindu Prime Minister and said that this Prime Minister is constantly working for you all and we are proud of him.
Rishi Sunak expressed gratitude for the honor of receiving him in the meeting. Blessed by God and Saints, loved by all, I have been brought up in the warm atmosphere of the temple. I think God is watching us all. Having said this, he expressed his commitment to work continuously for the society and the whole of the country.
Today, despite being the Prime Minister in England, Sunak, who proudly admits to being a Hindu in public, should be a motivator-icon of the youth, said Dr. Sant Swami said. And the saints including Kothari Viveksagar Swami of Sarangpur temple happily accepted the statue of Shri Hanumanji and said, I will keep this statue in front of me while reciting Hanuman Chalisa.
The entire program was arranged by the temple president Sureshbhai, Secretary Rikinbhai and the servants. It is worth mentioning here that many Gujaratis are also serving as members in the Council of London.
