Nobel laureate Mohammad Yunus will be sworn in as the head of Bangladesh's interim government on Thursday. Professor Yusuf should lead the government : Army Chief General

In view of the violence in Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina has resigned as Prime Minister and fled the country to Delhi after violent anti-government protests. Meanwhile, Professor Yunus is currently in Paris and is returning to Dhaka on Thursday.
Professor Yusuf appealed for peace
Meanwhile, Professor Yusuf has released a message. In this message, he appealed to everyone to remain calm. He said that our new victory will make Bangladesh rich. He appealed to everyone to shun violence and contribute to the building of a new Bangladesh.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) President and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia has been released from jail. Khaleda Zian also gave a video message to the nation. Khaleda Zia appealed to everyone to refrain from violence and maintain peace. He said that reconstruction of the country is possible only through peace.
Violence continues in Bangladesh, 469 people dead so far
Meanwhile, violence continues in Bangladesh. The bodies of at least 29 supporters of Sheikh Hasina's Awami League party were found. Thus the death toll in Bangladesh has increased to 469.
After the violence there is continued violence against the Hindu minorities. Victims of the violence, Hindu minorities and Awami League supporters have gathered at the Indian border and are trying to cross into India, but a large number of people from Bangladesh in Jalpaiguri are stopped at the border by BSF personnel.
Mohammad Mainul Islam, the newly appointed Inspector General of Police at Police Headquarters, said some unprofessional officers do not follow accepted principles of use of force and violate human rights. Some agitating students were seen directing traffic in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.
