The civic association 10 kmenů Izraele v exilu Efraim z.s. (10 Tribes of Israel – Ephraim in Exile) has announced its inaugural conference, “1st Conference – 10 Tribes of Israel: Ephraim in Exile,” set to take place on October 28, 2026, in Slaný, near Prague.
The event aims to foster a deeper understanding of historical origins, the restoration of identity, and the unification of communities through the lens of the ten lost tribes of Israel. This gathering is designed to be a platform for researchers, historians, and members of the community to discuss the historical and cultural ties associated with the Efraim heritage.
“Our goal is to return to the Romani people their true roots, which reach back to the ten tribes of Israel,” stated Ladislav Giňa, Chairman of the organization. “Everyone has the right to know their history and to live in the truth. We are reclaiming what is ours and walking the path of our nation’s self-determination together.”
The conference will feature the participation of various partner organizations dedicated to the exploration of cultural, historical, and biblical foundations. The organizers note that the event is part of a broader mission to shed light on long-standing questions regarding the dispersion and identity of the ten tribes.
A full program, including a detailed schedule of speakers and sessions, is scheduled for release in September 2026.
