IPL Management said in its statement, “Under section 2.22 of the IPL Code of Code, Akshar Patel’s team was the first offense of this season, which is related to a slow over-rate crime, so Akshar Patel has been fined Rs 12 lakh. Patel has confessed to the crime and the decision of the officers will be final.
