43 stores closed
The Maharashtra Joint Transport Commissioner has directed that the Ola Electric Scooter stores in the jurisdiction of different RTOs should be closed, where business is being done without a trade certificate. A 107 Ola scooter store without a trade certificate was found in Maharashtra. Out of which 43 have fallen. The other 64 stores have been ordered to close on a one -day notice.
Several electric scooters will be seized
In Maharashtra, the RTO has inspected 131 Ola stores so far. About 214 electric scooters present at these stores have been seized. However, a spokeswoman for Ola Electric has denied the figures. He also said that the company was contacting the officials and was working to resolve their concerns.
