DERRICK LEWIS has joked that he ‘hates’ UFC rival Francis Ngannou because he ‘makes me look fat’.
The two heavyweights have fought in the octagon before, with Lewis claiming victory in 2018 with a unanimous decision.

Lewis is now the No1 contender for Ngannou’s title, and the Louisiana brawler is already giving the fighting talk.
UFC chiefs are in the process of finalising a rematch between the two.
MMA Junkie reports Lewis as saying: “He makes me look fat when I stand next to him so f**k him.
“F**k Francis. And eat some Popeyes.”
When the two KO machines clashed three years, many expected fireworks.
But it proved a damp squib, and Lewis is adamant that the two need to put on a show next time.
He added: “It can’t be any worse than it was, so it has to be.
“Even if it’s one punch extra than the last fight, it gotta be better than it was, and I believe it is because we both improved in a lot of areas than we were in the last fight we had.”
Meanwhile UFC president Dana White has revealed Jon Jones will NOT fight the winner of Ngannou’s rematch with Lewis.

Jones, 33, has been embroiled in a bitter pay row with the UFC brass for close to a year – a dispute which has so far prevented a super-fight with newly-crowned heavyweight king Ngannou from being made.
The UFC brass have opted to move on with the division and are in the process of finalising a rematch between Ngannou and Lewis.
During an appearance on The Jake Asman Show, he said: “Well, Jon Jones made it very clear that he has no interest in fighting Stipe.
“So it doesn’t really matter.
“What you do is you do the fight with Derrick Lewis and Francis and then Stipe gets the winner.”
