Tokyo 1964: Designing Tomorrow is full of fascinating objects and memorabilia – from one of the torches that travelled around the country, to posters and brochures, as well as the specially made kimonos worn by the women who presented the medals.
You’ll also see the first ever pictograms – symbols designed to give visitors information such as where to get food or find a loo.

Holidays with heritage
Wales has a new Unesco world heritage site – the slate landscape of the north west.
Located in Snowdonia, the unique environment is home to the material that formed the roofs of many buildings throughout the 19th century, with the slate from its quarries exported around the globe.
