WHO DOESN’T love a cheeky McDonald’s?!
Whether you get a Big Mac, a Chicken Mayo or a Filet-O-Fish, it’s highly likely that you’ll be getting a side of fries to go with it.
A McDonald’s worker has taken to TikTok to share what she claims the employees do to ration fries[/caption]
But one American McDonald’s worker has taken to TikTok to reveal what she claims the workers do to ration your fries.
And it’s safe to say that we are in shock.
Now, there is no suggestion here that this is a McDonald’s company policy, this is just what an employee has claimed.
The TikToker posted the video with the caption ‘shhhhh’.
She explained “how we make our large fries” and claimed that they “don’t open the cardboard all the way.”
The McDonald’s employee said that this “saves more fries for others” and reduces the amount of fries you get if you order a large.

There’s bound to have been a time when you’ve looked down at your fries and are shocked at just how little you’ve got, but we can’t believe that these cheeky staff are actually rationing the portions!
At the time of writing, the video was only posted to TikTok 21 hours ago, but has already racked up 14.7k views.
One person said: “So true!!! As if we don’t notice…and with the drinks too. They are never filled all the way & if you say anything, they just add ice.”
However, there were McDonald’s workers that pointed out that this is not standard practice.
One explained: “That’s probably just a location thing. I’ve worked at like 5 locations and I’m always told to open it and pack it.”
Another commented: “Wrong. I worked at McDonald’s for 6 years and our head manager would have had our heads if we had tried to pull something like that.”
The Sun has contacted McDonald’s for comment.
