BRITAIN set for another bout of cold weather with heavy snow to come next week.
Brits are set for another cold snap, which will see heavy snow fall in mid-March and temperatures plunge to sub-zero.
Temperatures will plunge during the big hit, dropping as low as -4C on March 10. And the chilly snap will arrive as Storm Gladys brings frost and a “wintry blast” – just as the UK moves into spring.
A snowbomb is also expected next week, with four inches an HOUR coating some parts of the country on the March 11.
Maps from WXCharts show the white stuff will cover most of Scotland, northern England, Northern Ireland and western Wales.
Then yet more blizzard conditions are expected on March 12 through to March 17, the latest date meteorologists can predict for.
