Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani visited Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham and donated ₹ 10 crore to these holy temples. Upon arriving at Badrinath, Hemant Dwivedi, chairman of the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC), welcomed him and offered him a traditional Uttarakhand hat.
After visiting Badrinath and Kedarnath, Mukesh Ambani told Hemant Dwivedi that this year, the Chardham Yatra under the leadership of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami was being held very well. He explained that the Dhami government has created excellent facilities for pilgrims in many places in the journey route. Such a safe and well -organized system is rarely seen in other religious places.
Ambani said he has been visiting Uttarakhand for the last 20 years, but in recent years he has never seen such an excellent system. He praised the historic work under the leadership of Chief Minister Dhami. He also said that the number of pilgrims visiting Uttarakhand in the next 10 years will increase rapidly. Referring to the recent cloud eruptions in the state, he expressed his condolences to the families and affected people of the deceased and said that they and the Reliance Foundation would stand with Uttarakhand in every difficult time.
Mukesh Ambani assured the Uttarakhand government's full support for the protection of temples and environment. The Ambani family has been contributing to the Badrinath and Kedarnath temples for many years. Badrinath is a sacred place for the devotees of the Vaishnava sect. He is one of the 108 divine country of Lord Vishnu. The city of Badrinath also includes a group of Punch Badri temples, including Yoga Meditation Badri, Bhava Badri, Adi Badri, old Badri and Badrinath Temple (Badri Vishal).
According to the Hindu tradition, Adi Shankaracharya restored the Badrinath Temple (Badri Vishal) to revive the lost reputation of Hinduism and unite the country.
