A Founder’s Journey Shaped by Adversity, Advocacy, and Empathy

Craveiro’s path to entrepreneurship was forged through lived experience rather than corporate ambition. After being dismissed from a previous HR role for being “too people-focused,” she recognised a critical gap between traditional HR practices and the compassionate, accountable support that many small employers — and their teams — genuinely need.
This career transition unfolded alongside deeply personal challenges: her mother’s ICU hospitalisation following a suicide attempt, navigating her own diagnosis of CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), and caring for her family during a period of medical crisis and uncertainty when her husband faced a workplace injury followed by what she describes as prolonged retaliation, ultimately resulting in his termination after nearly two decades of service. These experiences offered a profound reminder that HR is not theoretical — it impacts livelihoods, health, security, and dignity.
