Non-bank lender Capri Global Capital Ltd has approved its equity share split along with a bonus issue of shares following its December quarter results. The company has announced a bonus issue of shares in the ratio of 1:1. Shareholders will receive one free share for each share they hold on the record date.
Capri Global Capital Securities will use Rs 41.24 crore from the balance in the premium account for the bonus issue of shares. As on March 31, 2023, the company had Rs 188.3 crore in its securities premium account.
Apart from this, the board has also approved splitting of one share of face value Rs 2 into two shares of face value Rs 1 each. The company last did its stock split in November 2016, dividing one share of Rs 10 into 5 shares of Rs 2 each.
Capri Global reported a 54 percent jump in its assets under management to Rs 13,362 crore in the December quarter, while disbursements nearly doubled, up 91 percent from the same quarter last year. The record date for the bonus has been fixed on March 5.
Shares of Capri Global Capital closed at Rs 925 with a modest decline of 0.51 per cent on February 6. The stock has gained 3.96 percent in the last 1 month, giving investors a return of Rs 35.25.
