Cheteshwar Pujara scored a double century
Sussex cricket team was playing a match against Derbyshire. This was Pujara’s first match for Sussex. He could do nothing more in the first innings and was dismissed for just 6 runs. His team managed only 174 runs in the first innings. That’s why he got a follow-on. However, in the second innings, Pujara remained on the field in such a way that he remained unbeaten until the team’s defeat was averted. Pujara scored 201 off 387 balls and remained unbeaten. He hit 23 fours in his innings. He batted for 467 minutes in his innings. Apart from Pujara, Captain Top Hanse also scored 243 runs.
