What is Death Over?
In T20 cricket, in the last four overs of an innings, when the batting team tries to score maximum runs, the overs are called death overs. Overs 16 to 20 are called death overs in T20 cricket format. These final four overs are important for both the batting and bowling teams. The batting team tries to score more runs while the bowling team takes more wickets and gives fewer runs.
