Directly got a chance in the qualifiers
Gujarat Titans have played a tremendous innings and Darshan Nalkande has been given a place in the team. Throughout the season, Darshan was only seen giving water to the players on the field. Meaning he was not given a chance in the league stage for the entire season. But Yash Dayal was left out as Hardik Pandya played the innings against Chennai Super Kings and gave Darshan a chance. Not only the spectators or cricket fans but also Chennai must have been stunned by Hardik’s claim.
Nalkand has not played cricket in the field for the last six months. Which has now created a surprise by dropping him in an important match. Darshan played his last match in November last year. Darshan played that match for Vidarbha against Rajasthan in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. After which Darshan has now directly faced Dhoni’s army in Chepauk.
Joined Gujarat for 20 lakh rupees
