The grand temple of Lord Rama in Ayodhya was consecrated on January 22. Along with this, there has been a tremendous increase in the number of devotees coming there. Businessmen associated with the hotel industry say that 50 to 100 hotels of various categories are likely to open in Ayodhya in the next five years due to the increase in the number of religious tourists. Hotel industry body HAI believes that Ayodhya should be seen not only from the perspective of religious tourism but also as an opportunity to make it the Vatican City of India.
The city of Ayodhya will become the Vatican City of India
Hotel Association of India (HAI) Vice President K B Kachru said that we have an opportunity to look at Ayodhya not from a religious tourism point of view but as an opportunity to make it like the Vatican City of India. If people go to Italy or Rome, no matter what class they belong to, they definitely go to the Vatican. Kachru told a press conference here that Ayodhya has been presented to the whole world in such a way that people’s interest in it has increased manifold.
This is the plan
He said that people feel that if they are going to India, they should also go to Ayodhya. Keeping this in mind all the branded hotel companies are optimistic about the growth in this city. Speaking on the occasion, HAI President Puneet Chatwal said that now Ayodhya’s time has come and no one can stop it. He said that 50 to 100 hotels will be built within Ayodhya in the next three to five years.
